GO Wales Placement leads onto a KTP

Aidan Farrelly started with Insteng Process Automation LTD on a GO Wales placement as a Marketing and Business Developer in June 2010. His main task was to produce a detailed marketing and communication plan for the company.

Aidan impressed during his placement and Insteng decided that they would look into a KTP (Knowledge Transfer Partnership) in order to progress the placement into a longer term role. Aidan’s placement was extended and his KTP began in November. The progression onto a KTP means that Aidan now has a contract for a further two years with Insteng and he will be working closely with the Sales Team to improve company workflow.

Aidan feels that his placement has improved his knowledge of marketing and that he has grown in confidence, appearing more self-assured in his role as a result. We wish him luck in the future!

Aidan says:

“The GO Wales placement gave me the opportunity to improve my own knowledge and confidence to fulfil the role. I am now on a KTP placement as a result. I wouldn’t have got the opportunity if it were not for the GO Wales placement.”
