Guest post by Kylie Skinner – ACCA Business Relationship Manager

Join the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Wales at their upcoming ‘Meet Your Perfect Match’ speed networking event being held on Tuesday 11th February at the Kuku Club in Cardiff, from 6 – 9 pm.

The event is open to recent graduates, as well as final year undergraduate and post-graduate students, who are considering a career in accounting and finance. The event will give students the opportunity to network with senior finance managers, practice partners & HR/training managers, ask questions and to hear first-hand what they are looking for in their graduates.

We have had fantastic response from employers to this event, and to date have confirmed attendance from 10 employers across the corporate, financial services, public and practice sectors all of whom are based across South Wales.  Whilst this event provides no guarantee of employment, it gives employers the opportunity to seek out potential future talent and who knows, they might just meet their perfect match…

The event is free for students to attend and is being promoted to across all South Wales universities, it is therefore advised, that as spaces are limited, students book early to avoid disappointment.

Who can I meet: To date we have staff representing finance teams in…

Atradius BBC
Panasonic GE Aviation
Tata Steel RCT Homes
Watts Gregory UHY Hacker Young
Welsh Water Welsh Government

RSVP by Thursday 6 Feb to and please include your Name, University, Course, Year of Graduation, Email and Date of Birth.
